This project delves into the universal human experience of coping with pain, contrasting artificial numbing with natural, cultural healing. By examining Amy Winehouse’s modern struggles and Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu’s traditional approach, we explore how different media—music, poetry, visual arts—reflect diverse paths to solace. Our aim is to provoke thought on the effectiveness and consequences of each approach, encouraging viewers to reflect on their personal escapes and the potential for holistic healing.
